The G80\/G82 M3 and M4 utilize a Y-style mid pipe, with both downpipes located on the right side of the engine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe left side downpipe connects to a “crossover” pipe that runs beneath the transmission and links up with the mid pipes on the left side. Unfortunately, the stock shape of the crossover pipe is oval to create enough clearance underneath the transmission. This alteration from a round tube to an oval causes turbulence within the pipe, leading to a restriction in exhaust flow.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCTS is proud to announce our Audi C8 RS6\/RS7 4.0t Mid Pipes\/Resonator Delete kit. This is a direct replacement kit with no modifications required.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 4.0T V8 does sound great, but sometimes even with the valves open it sounds subdued. Our mid pipe kit removes the stock resonator to allow more sound without added drone.
